William Wallace

William E. "Wild Bill" Wallace Jr., 65, of Marion, died unexpectedly Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at his home.

Bill was born July 9, 1959, in Marion, Indiana, to the late William E. Wallace Sr. and the late Mary Lloyd, he graduated from Eastbrook High School class of 1978. He retired from Bahr Brothers Manufacturing, Marion, Indiana after 32 years of service.

Bill was not a shy person, and he had no filter. He enjoyed joking around and was sometimes flirtatious. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and riding motorcycles with his wife and friends.

Bill married Brigitte Winans on March 28, 1987, in Lexington, KY, she survives. They enjoyed traveling out West, and going to Brown County every year for their anniversary.

Also surviving are his children; Joshua Wallace, Upland, Jessica (Adam) Orsmby, Gas City, and Jeffery (Chelsey) Wallace, Fairmount, IN. Siblings; Laura Campbell, Marion, Cindy (Brian) Clark, Marion, and Ralph Wallace, Upland. 2 Grandsons, and 3 granddaughters, and their dogs, Annie and Maggie.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Kathy Brunner and Joan Wallace.

Arrangements for Bill have been entrusted to Armes-Hunt Life Celebration Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Jones-Smith Chapel 259 N. Main Street., Upland, Indiana 46989. Visitation for Bill will be Monday October 28, 2024, from 2-6 PM, followed by the funeral service at 6:00 PM, at the funeral home with Pastor David Morris officiating.
