William R. Jones

William R. Jones, 63, died Sunday, October 24, 2021, at Aperion Care Center in Marion. William was born on June 13, 1958, son of Clymer D. and Mary C. (Sheets) Jones. He graduated from Madison-Grant High School. After High School, he honorably served his country in the Navy. William had worked at Pierce Governor, RCA, Carter Express, American Woodmark, and Cafe Valley. He enjoyed fishing and trains, riding motorcycles, and spending time at Lake Chapman William is survived by his son, William "Curtis" Jones, Jonesboro; mother, Mary Jones, Jonesboro; siblings, Albert Jones, Marion, Mike (Leah) Jones, Jonesboro, and Carolyn (Denny) Darr, Anderson. He was preceded in death by his father, Clymer. Arrangements for William will be at the College Park Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 4601 S. Western Ave, Marion, Indiana where visitation will be Sunday, October 31, 2021, from 3-6 PM. Funeral service is Monday, November 1, 2021, at 10 AM. Burial with Military Rites will be at Marion National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior in care of the funeral home.
