Treva Deloris Venitz

TrevaD.Venitz, 96, of Fairmount, Indiana passed away peacefully, Friday, March 18, 2016 at Summit Convalescent Center with her family by her side. She was the only child of Frank and Grace Cray born on December 12, 1919. Raised in Jonesboro, she was the last surviving graduate of Jonesboro High School, Class of 1937. She married RussellVenitzin 1939 and they were together nearly 70 years. They lived in Fairmount with two daughters.Trevawas active in Girl Scouts, Jobs Daughters, Eastern Star and volunteered at Marion General Hospital Gift Shop for many years. Trevais survived by daughter, Judy (Jim) Williams,Summitville, Son-in-law, Ron (Linda) Howe, Jonesboro. Grandchildren, Christa (Ron)Chitwood, Fishers, Craig (Kelly) Howe, Alexandria, Kyle (Fiancee Heather) Williams,Brownstown, IN, and Keri (Greg)DeDecker, Fairmount, IN. She was very proud of her six Great-Grandchildren, Cody andKaitlynWilliams, Gavin, Grant, andKamiDeDecker, and Emma Howe. Several nieces and nephews. Trevawas preceded in death by husband,Russellin 2009 and daughter, Patricia Howe in 2001.
