Thomas Reed Neeley

Thomas Reed Neeley passed away Sunday April 2, 2023 at IU Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie. He was born in Marion, Indiana to William and Vera (Mahoney) Neeley on May 1, 1950. He was a 1968 graduate of Fairmount High School and went on to serve in United States Air Force. He later received his Associates Degree from Ivy Tech.

Thomas married Frances "Fran" Kirk on July 26, 1975. He worked at RCA-Thompson Electric for 37 years before retiring. They attended The Tabernacle Church. He taught Sunday School for many years and was active in puppet ministry with his wife. He was a leader in Royal Rangers and served on many boards. Thomas coached Little League for ten years at Oak Hill. Thomas learned how to be an expert handy man from his father. He always worked on his own projects and could fix anything.

Thomas will be missed by his wife, sons Chad (Mellanie) Neeley and Michael (Eileen) Neeley; grandchildren Preston, Jagger, Emma, Bryant, Chris, Genna, Knoll, and William; and brothers Doug Neeley and Rick (Anita) Neeley.

Services for Tom will be a viewing at Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 4601 South Western Avenue, Marion, Indiana on Thursday April 6, 2023 from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Then on Friday April 7, 2023 there will be a funeral beginning at 9:00 A.M. with Todd Thomas officiating. Burial will immediately follow at the Marion National Cemetery.
