Teressa 'Terri' Z. Kirk

TeressaTerri Z. Kirk, 73, died Monday, December 19, 2016 at her Fairmount, Indiana residence after a battle with cancer. Terriwas born inSalida, Colorado on December 6, 1943, daughter of the late Amos andZeolomaIsenhartFisher. She attended school in Jonesboro and Fairmount. Terrimarried James D, Kirk on December 19, 1987. Jim survives in Fairmount. Terriand Jim were retired from farming and was a local restaurant business owner for over 40 yearswhere she used her talent and love of cooking and baking. Terry loved her farm animals and camping. She was a member of the Fairmount American Legion Post 313,Center Christian Church where she enjoyed taking part in the Willing Workers ladies group, and Jobs Daughters Also surviving are daughters; Regina Kendall, Ft. Wayne, IN., Michelle Kendall, Fairmount, IN andLarraine(Brian)Stambaugh,Russiaville, IN, Son; Terry (Lynnette) Clements, Conway, Ark, sister,TrebaFisher, San LuisObispo, CA and brother, Tim Fisher,Greentown, IN, 20Grandchildren, 28Great-Grandchildren. 1 great-great-grandson,her beloved rescue companion, Savannah, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Amy JoKendallin 2013, parents, andgrandparents Pearl and Robert Shuman. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Fairmount Chapel ofArmes-HuntFuneral Home and Cremation Services, 415 S. Main Street, Fairmount, IN Graveside service and burial will be at Park Cemetery with Dr. Thomas Jones officiating on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at 10 AM. Friends may gatherat Center ChristianChurch, 3600 W. 900 S. Fairmount, IN following the graveside service. Memorial contributions may be made to Center Christian Churchor Cancer Services of Grant County in care of the funeral home.
