Susan L. Thompson

Susan L. Thompson, 67 passed away Thursday March 21, 2024 in her home. She was born in Michigan on February 26, 1957 to Harvey and Elsie (Horwitz) Suddarth and they moved to Marion when she was young. She graduated from Marion High School in 1975 and she married Larry Thompson Sr. on March 15, 1980. He preceded her in death on March 20, 2016.

Susan was caring and loving. She was devoted to her family and could always be found helping people. She was active in the AMVETS always volunteering wherever she could.

Susan is survived by her sons Jacob Thompson and Larry Thompson Jr; granddaughters Illeana and Yalainna; mother, Elsie Suddarth; siblings Ann Loy, Nathan (Connie) Suddarth, and John Suddarth. She was preceded in death by her father, husband and siblings Steve Suddarth and Mary Poor.

Services have been entrusted to the College Park Chapel of Armes-Hunt Life Celebration Funeral Home and Cremation Services at 4601 South Western Avenue Marion, Indiana 46953. A graveside service will be held Tuesday March 26, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at the Marion National Cemetery 1700 East 38th Street, Marion, Indiana 46953 with Steve Armes officiating.
