Stephen Bain "Peewee" Willhite

Stephen Bain "Peewee" Willhite, 71, of Fowlerton, IN, passed away Thursday morning September 21, 2023, at his home surrounded by his family. Everyone who knew Steve knew him to be a character who loved to have a good time with good friends.

Steve was a farmer for a long time. He drove a fuel truck for many years, for Chad Wilson, delivering gas to different gas stations. Steve was a graduate of Fairmount High School. He was a member of the Fairmount Masonic Lodge #635 and enjoyed fishing, and working on garden tractors and going to garden tractor pulls.

Steve was born August 24, 1952, in Marion, Indiana to the late Bain Leroy and Juanita (Craig) Willhite.

Steve is survived by his companion of many years, Debra Blair, Fowlerton; children, Amanda Bain Willhite, Eric (Heather) Zirkle, Emalee (Tyler) Sparks, and Lee Ross; Step-children, Melody Carrigg, and Angie Holmes; grandchildren, Jacob Zirkle, Jeffery Willhite, Stephen Dove, Blaize Campbell, Sydney Nelson, Braden Ross, Alea Sparks, Erin Zirkle, Blaine Sparks, Lyric Trujillo, and Ivy Mae Black; step-grandchildren, Kaiden, Kameran, Alexis, Michael, Danny, Cindy, Brandon, Melissa, and Kimmy; great-grandchild, Mason Bain Willhite; siblings, Randy (Helen) Willhite, Bill Reed, Rhonda (Isamel) Briones, and Connie Reed.

He was preceded in death by his parents; stepson, Matthew Wilson; siblings, Rodney (Marlene) Willhite, Richard "Pete" (Donna) Willhite, and Russell (Pat) Willhite.

Arrangements for Steve have been entrusted to the Fairmount Chapel of Armes-Hunt Life Celebration Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 415 S. Main St., Fairmount, IN.

At Steve's request, there will be no services at this time.
