Sarah F. "Sally" Most, age 71, of Fairmount, Indiana, passed away peacefully on February 16, 2025, at Marion Health, with her beloved husband, Mark Most, by her side.

Born on October 12, 1953, in Marion, Indiana, Sally was the cherished daughter of the late Harry and Leona Craw. She graduated from Madison-Grant High School and went on to dedicate 25 years of her life to the United States Postal Service in Fairmount, retiring in 2004. Known for her warm smile and kindness, Sally touched the lives of many in her community.

On September 30, 1994, Sally and Mark wed, beginning a beautiful journey filled with love, laughter, and shared passions. Together, they explored the great outdoors, often venturing to breathtaking locations such as Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons, where they reveled in capturing the beauty of nature through Sally's treasured photography.

Sally had a special love for wildlife photography, often waking up at dawn to seek out elusive creatures such as snowy owls to photograph. She enjoyed countless hours watching Turner Classic Movies and cherished the timeless humor of "I Love Lucy." Her enthusiasm for life and her nurturing spirit will be forever remembered by those who knew her.

Sally is survived by her devoted husband, Mark Most; brothers-in-law, Dennis Most, Fairmount, Terry (Gail) Most, Marion, and Bruce (Jacci) Most, Crawfordsville; sister-in-law, Debbie (Scott) MacDougall, Massachusetts; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her beloved cats, Ellie and Dakota.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Leona, and her sister, Connie Craw.

Arrangements for Sally have been entrusted to the Fairmount Chapel of Armes-Hunt Life Celebration Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 415 South Main Street, Fairmount, Indiana 46928, where a visitation will be held on Monday, February 24, 2025, from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. A graveside service will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Park Cemetery in Fairmount, with Pastor Steve Armes officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to either Grant County Cancer Services or the American Heart Association.
