Sara L. (Sigworth) Nader, 96, went home to be with the Lord, Monday morning, October 8, 2018, in Colonial Oaks Healthcare Center, Marion, surrounded by family. She was born in Dubois, Pennsylvania, on September 4, 1922, the daughter of the late Otis and Electa (Spencer) Sigworth. She was a graduate of Bible College in Binghamton, New York and attended Moody Bible Institute with special studies in piano and voice. Sara married Frederick J. Nader in June 1944. She served 55 years as a Ministers Wife, before he preceded her in death in 1999. After her husband passed away, Mrs. Nader moved to Upland where she attended Upland Community Church and enjoyed spending time with her family. Survivors include: a son, Frederick (Lynn) Nader, Jr., North Carolina; two daughters: Cynthia (Craig) Moore, Upland; and Christine Vredevelt, Grand Rapids, Michigan; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother: Donald Sigworth; and a sister: Naomi Karlson. Visitation will be from Noon to 2pm, Thursday, October 11, 2018, at College Wesleyan Church, 200 E. 38th St., Marion, Indiana 46953. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm, at the church, with Dr. Ryan Moore officiating. Entombment will be in Sunset MemoryGardens, Mint Hill, North Carolina.
