Rosemary Phillips

Rosemary (Jeffries) Phillips, 79, formerly of Marion, died peacefully, surrounded by her family at her home in Linden, Tennessee. Rosemary was born on August 23, 1942, in Marion, Indiana, daughter of the late John Thomas and Estie (Pattison) Jeffries. She attended Fairmount schools. Rosemary was a quiet, loving, and kind person who always looked out for others. She loved doing embroidery, reminiscing with and writing to friends, spending time with her family, especially her great-grandchildren. She also loved doing puzzles, playing games, and doing word find and Sudoku puzzles. Rosemary is survived by grandchildren: Skylar Morris, Hohenwald, TN and Brendan Morris, Linden, TN; great-grandchildren: Nadelynn Susan Grace Morris and Hermione Ren'a Jewell Morris; brothers: Ralph (Elizabeth) Jeffries, Marion and Paul J. (Eula) Jeffries, Linden, TN; nieces: Denise (Edward) Brummett, and Tamara (Danny) Wallace both of Linden, TN, Melissa (Lawrence) Holt, Marion; special caregivers: Ginger Stinson and Kim Powell; and several nieces and nephews. Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Susan Renee Morris, grandson, Caleb Morris, nieces Paula Ann Jeffries and Christy Holt, nephew, Terrance L. Jeffries. Services for Rosemary will be held at the Fairmount Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 415 South Main Street, Fairmount, Indiana on Saturday, February 26, 2022. Visitation will be from 12-2 PM with the funeral service at 2 PM with Pastor Corey Wilson officiating. Burial will be at Estates of Serenity, Marion, Indiana.
