Ronnietta R. (Burton) Reno

Ronnietta R. (Burton) Reno, 63, of Fairmount, died Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Marion Health.

Ronnietta was born on October 15, 1959 in Marion, Indiana, daughter of the late Frank and Phyllis (Stotts) Burton. She attended Mississinewa High School and married Charles "Doug" Reno on March 25, 1978. He preceded her in death on December 13, 2010. Ronnietta was tough as nails on the outside, but on the inside she was loving, tender, and compassionate. She was a mother figure to many and never turned anyone away. She loved to use her inappropriate sense of humor to make people laugh, and had a distinctive whistle that let you know she was there. She loved playing bingo, going to the casino, birds, playing pool on her phone, collecting treasures, dancing with her grandchildren, and loved her family fiercely. She attended Gaston Main Street Church. She was committed to her devotion time of 10-10:30 each day, not even answering her phone.

Ronnietta is survived by her children, Josh (Anna Raver) Reno, Gaston, and Rachel Reno-Deeter, Fairmount; grandchildren, Austin (Macey Meckling) Reno, Tyler Deeter, and Serenity Deeter, Hannah Sneed, Hailey Sneed, Hayden Sneed, Dustin Fields, Christopher Chesterman, Braxton Chesterman, Kurstin Haworth, and Skyler Haworth; great-grandchildren; Noah Deeter, Railynn Deeter, Izabella Harris, Brentlee Chesterman, Niko Chesterman, Easton Fields, Hudson Fields, Addison Cox, Addilynn Eakins, Brantley Mechling, Blaine Reno, Aubri Reno, Amelia Reno, Brysen Reno, and Diana Toney; sister, Margie Burton, Gas City; brother, Ned Burton; step-mother, Jan Burton, Gas City; step-siblings, Beth Chabode, Dave Davies, and Andy Davies.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and three grandchildren, Bryce Deeter, Morgan Reno, and Maya Reno.

Services for Ronnietta will be at Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 415 S. Main Street, Fairmount, Indiana on Friday, April 7, 2023. Visitation will be from 1-3 PM with the funeral Service at 3 PM with Pastor Bill Bruneau officiating. Burial will be at Park Cemetery.
