Roma Mae Beck

Roma M. Beck, 85, of Fairmount, Indiana died Thursday, August 25, 2016 at Community Hospital in Anderson, Indiana. Roma was born in Grant County, Indiana on September 20, 1930, daughter of the late Clayton W. Dickerson and the late Lula MaeVetorDickerson. She was a 1948 graduate of Fairmount High School. Roma and BillyF. Bill Beck were married inFowlerton, Indiana on May 21, 1948. They were married 66 years before his death on June 14, 2014. Roma was a bookkeeper at Midwest Food Packing for 45 years and was a member of theFowlertonMethodist Church. Roma is survived by three children; Mike (Wife Cathy) BeckChiefland, Florida, Pamela (Husband Rock)Hutchason, Gulfport, Florida and Julie (HusbandRick)Clevenger, Fairmount, Indiana 5 Grandchildren; Heather (Husband Jeff)SpilmanofBelleair, FL, Brandon (Wife Rosa) Beck, Jacksonville, FL, Brooke (Husband Dusty) Smith ofChiefland, FL, Brett (Wife Lauren) Hamilton,Orlando, FL and Casey (HusbandShawn Pettigrew)Clevenger,Fulton, MO, 9great-grandchildren; Clayton and EmmaSpilman, Reese, Braxton, and BauerSolowski, Beckham Smith, Baylor and EastonHamilton, Peyton Pettigrew. Several special Nieces and Nephews. Roma was preceded in death by her parents Clayton and Lula Dickerson, husband Bill, Brothers Carl E. Gene, Ralph, and Raymond Dickerson, and sisters Katie Sells and Phyllis Poling. Arrangements are entrusted to the Fairmount Chapel ofArmes-HuntFuneral Home and Cremation Services, 415 S. Main Street, Fairmount, Indiana where the family will receive friends on Friday, September 2,2016 from 5-8 PM. Funeral service honoring Roma will be at the funeral home on Saturday, September 3,2016 at 10:30 AM with Rev. EllaNicklesofficiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery, Fairmount, Indiana.
