Robert L. Boggs

Robert Bobby L. Boggs, 69, passed away on Monday, February 5, 2018, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Bobby was born on October 27, 1948, inMaysville, Kentucky, to the late George Boggs and the late Louise (Dillon) Williamson. He married Ruby Heal on January 15, 1972, at Lighthouse Assembly of God in Jonesboro. They just celebrated 46 years of marriage last month. Bobby worked at General Cable for over ten years, retiring in 2004. Prior to his work at General Cable, he worked for Essex Wire. Bobby enjoyed fishing and doing puzzles on the computer. He also loved to watch movies with his family. Bobby is survived by his wife, Ruby, Upland; two sons, Robert Boggs, Jr., Upland, and Michael (Christie) Boggs, Marion; two grandchildren,Kylee(Joshua) Johnson, Wabash, and Cody Boggs, Marion; two brothers, Bill Boggs,Mier, and Charles (Endina) Boggs, Killeen, TX; four sisters, Mary Ann (JC) Hunt, Gas City, Linda (Joe) Norton, Marion, Margaret Riddle, Marion, and Debbie Tucker, Jonesboro; brother-in-law, JohnKroft, Marion; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Louise, sister, Wanda, two sisters-in-law, Cathy Boggs and LisaKroft, and niece,CaylaBoggs. Arrangements for Bobby have been entrusted toArmes-HuntFuneral Home and Cremation Services College Park Chapel, 4601 S. Western Ave., Marion, Indiana 46953, where a visitation will be held on Friday, February 9, 2018, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A funeral service honoring Bobby will follow the visitation at 1:00 p.m., with Pastor David Mantor officiating.
