Robert Cassidy

Robert E. Cassidy 76, passed away at home on November 1, 2023. He was born to Earl and Betty (Showen) Cassidy on May 22, 1947. After attending Marion High School, he went on to work at Custom Comfort Heating and Cooling and Beck Enterprises

Robert had a wide range of interests that made him special. He had a passion for woodworking, collecting coins and using his metal detector. Robert was hard-working and extremely generous donating to St. Jude, Riley Children's Hospital, Veteran's Relief fund and many others. His sense of humor brought joy and laughter to those around him. He was known as "Pap" to everyone, providing a safe haven for all that entered his home.

Robert is survived by his children Tammy (Steve) Wolf, Jessica (Chris) Gebhart, Robert Cassidy II, and David Cassidy, step-son Jason Lines; grandchildren Jamie Lee, Kayla (Brent) Wolf, Lindsey (Randy) Wolf, Adrian (Caleb) Wolf, Lilliana Wolf, Aydin Hiatt, Aiden Gebhart, Lyssa Gebhart, Matthew Frazier, Robert (Amanda) Cassidy III, Nicholas ( Morgan) Cassidy, Lacy Cassidy, and Tierra (Justin) Cassidy, ; great-grandchildren Jaren Beeghly, Brantley King, Riley King, Isaiah Miller, Grayson Wolf, Payton Wolf, Oliver Bauman, Amelia Cassidy, Aurora Cassidy, Rorik Cassidy, Hayes Graves, Layla Adamson, Ava Adamson, Dallas Adamson, Liam Cassidy, and Heath Cassidy, Ariann Cassidy, Maeleigh Cassidy, and Zar Cassidy; Siblings Larry (Ruthann) Cassidy, Tracey (Daryl) Haegy, Kim Thompson and Kathy (Jim) Gulley; special friend and bonus son Nick Martin; his cat Cookie; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Von Cassidy and Gary Cassidy.

Arrangements for Robert have been entrusted to College Park Chapel of Armes-Hunt Life Celebration Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 4601 South Western Avenue, Marion, Indiana 46953. A celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Riley Children's Hospital at 705 Riley Hospital Drive, Indianapolis, Indiana 46204 in Robert's honor.
