Rebecca Becky S. Conelley 74, formerly of Upland, died Saturday July 20 at Coventry Meadows Healthcare Facility, Ft. Wayne, Indiana Becky was a minister for 13 years with the United Methodist Church serving at Culver United Methodist Church, McNate United Methodist Church, Asbury United Methodist Church in Wells County, and Waynedale United Methodist Church. She loved children and was always involved in childrens ministries. She enjoyed doing crafts, sewing, knitting, needle point and coloring. She would write Bible School Programs for the kids. Becky was born at Hartford City, Indiana on August 26, 1944. Her father Bill Covert preceded in death and her mother, Mable Louise (Wentz) Covert, survives at Warren, Indian.She was a graduate of Blackford High School Class of 1962. She married Robert Conelley July 28, 1963 at Bethel Center, her survives in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. Also, surviving are daughters; Carmen (Tim) Stoner, Ft. Wayne, Shanda (Jeff) White, Randleman, NC and Katrina (Jim) Milligan, Sevierville, TN Sister; Nancy St. Andrew, Oregon. 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Arrangements have been entrusted to Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services and Cremation Services, Jones-Smith Chapel 259 N. Main St., Upland, IN where the family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Wednesday July 24, 2019 with a Celebration of Life Ceremony at 1:00 PM following the visitation with Rev. Jack Scott officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Cemetery, Upland, IN. Memorial contributions are to the Alzheimers Association or The United Methodist Church in care of the funeral home.
