Rebecca Mae Simms

Rebecca Mae Simms, 61, passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2020. Becky was born on May 5, 1958, to the late John and Selita Allen, in Ewing Kentucky. She attended Madison-Grant High School and then worked as a QMA in nursing homes and as a truck driver for a couple different companies, which she loved. Becky was a feisty lady who enjoyed speaking her mind. She liked to crochet and she loved her dog. She really loved to clear her head by driving around, with no particular destination in mind. Becky is missed by her children, Rally (Kristina) Sherron, Gas City, and Milika (J) Workman, Marion; significant other, Peter Foor; siblings, Carrie (Jim) Moon, Marion, Micheale Foor, Peru, Lita (Craig) Freeman, Swayzee, John (Mindy) Allen, Fort Myers, FL, Iva (Mike) Stevens, Atlanta, Ga, and Debbie Logan, Virginia Beach, VA; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Becky Allen, and Selita and Alfred Lowe; son, James Winfred Allen Lowe; grandson, Greggory James Stinefield; sister, Margie Fugate; brother, Clifford Lowe; and niece, Lois Coty. Arrangements for Becky have been entrusted to the Fairmount Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 415 South Main Street, Fairmount, Indiana 46928, where a visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 15, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Jim Neal officiating.
