Rebecca JeanSickman, 90, formerly of Fairmount, Indiana died Sunday, January 14, 2018at herdaughters home in Indianapolis, Rebecca was born in Marion, Indiana on August 5, 1927,daughter of the late Dalton A. and Dollie D.(Hiatt)Sheron. She married Edward H.Sickman. He preceded her in death on February 8, 1985. Ed and Rebecca owned and operated the Fairmount Western Auto Store from 1970-1985. Rebecca was a homemaker and had worked several temporary and seasonal jobs including RCA, the Fairmount Canning Factory andDriskillsMarket. As a teenager, one of her jobs was delivering telegrams. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Rebecca is survived by her three children; DavidLee (Linda)Sickman, LaPorte, IN, Steven Earl (Diana)SickmanFairmount, INandCharyl Ann SickmanEppley, Indianapolis, IN, sister, Colleen Stroud, CA, grandchildren; Christine (John) Loftus, Ian Sickman, Braeden (Skye) Sickman, and Jessica (Jeremiah) Monk, step-grandchildren; Adam Dauenhauer and Jeremy (Margo) Dauenhaur, great-grandchildren; Emma Loftus, Talena Sickman, Andrew Drew Monk, and Violet Sickman, step-great-grandchildren; Jacob, Maranda, and Emily Dauenhauer. She was preceded in death by siblings; Arthur Lee Sheron, Charles Sheron, Rosanna Rosie Jordan, Ruby Ritter, Richard Sheron, and Joan Sheron. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Fairmount Chapel ofArmes-HuntFuneral Home and Cremation Services, 415 S. Main Street, Fairmount, Indiana.
