Ralph E. Moorman

Ralph E. Moorman passed away in his home with his wife by his side on Monday August 14, 2023. Ralph was born to Earl and Martha (Elliott) Moorman on June 4, 1941 in the house he was living in. He married Rosemary Shaffer on December 12, 1980 and she survives.

Ralph worked as a farmer and also did maintenance at the local schools after attending Swayzee High School. He attended Fairfield Christian Church with his wife. He loved farming and spending time with his kids and grandkids.

Ralph is survived by his wife, daughter Elizabeth Moorman, son Ralph (Amber) Jr; grandchildren William Moorman, Leah Moorman, Ashlyn Moorman, Braelyn Moorman and Haley Williams; siblings Lee (Linda) Moorman, Mary Buroker, Rosetta Beck, and Nancy Jones; sister-in-law Martha Collins. He was preceded in death by his parents, son-in-law Rob Williams, siblings Pauline (Tom) Kratzer, Ruth (Jim) Sheedy, Janet (Jim) Stinger, Margaret Street, Alice Cole, Dwayne (Pauline) Moorman, and brothers -in-law, Tom Beck, and Leland Buroker.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services at 4601 South Western Avenue Marion, Indiana 46953. A graveside service will take place Saturday August 19, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. at Greenlawn Cemetery in Greentown, Indiana with Pastor Lynn Coleman presiding.
