Raejean Alvarado

Raejean L. Alvarado, 51, of Marion, passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2021, peacefully at her home. Raejean was born on September 22, 1969, in Marion, to the late John (Norma) Alvarado and Sandra (Keith) Nelson. She attended First General Baptist Church. Raejean loved kids, especially the little ones, they had a special place in her heart. She enjoyed doing puzzles, crocheting, and playing painting apps on her tablet. Her favorite thing to crochet was baby blankets and she made all of the new babies in the family a blanket. She loved playing BINGO and going to the casino. Raejean will be missed by many. Raejean is survived by her son, Jacob Furnish, Marion; mother, Sandra (Keith) Nelson, Marion; sister, Mary (Danny) Loftis, Marion; brother, Kevin Wayne (Penny) Nelson, OH; the father of her only son and her ex-husband, Tracy Furnish, Marion; and her ex-mother in law who was like another mother to Rajean, Jane Bennett. She was preceded in death by her father and step-mother, John and Norma Alvarado; and her fiance, Darren Willis. Arrangements for Raejean have been entrusted to College Park Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 4601 S. Western Avenue, Marion, Indiana 46953.
