Radeana "Randi" Titus

Radeana "Randi" Titus, 49, died unexpectedly after a brief illness on Monday September 11, 2023 at her Van Buren residence.

Randi was born on April 27, 1974 in Muncie, Indiana, the daughter of Bobbie Jo (Howell) Dickey of Milan, Indiana and Tim E. Titus of Wilmington, Ohio. Randi graduated from Madison-Grant High School in 1992 where she was a competitive athlete competing in volleyball, basketball, track and was a talented gymnast, cheerleader and baton twirler. She also was an animal lover ready to rescue any animal needing a home. Randi later earned her Bachelor degree in Surgical Technology from Ivy Tech. Randi loved her job traveling many years throughout the country as a traveling surgical tech. Her happy go lucky personality made her a peace maker and likable by everyone she met. It also made her home the gathering place of her son's friends and neighborhood kids where she was in the middle competing in their games and shenanigans, and jumping on the trampoline. Her son was the light of her life. Growing up she had a close loving bond with her great-grandmother, Gladys Howell.

Along with her parents, Randi is survived by her son, Hunter Gilbert, at home, sister, Jo-Ell (Charles) Williams of Milan, Indiana; her companion, Tony Gilbert, Van Buren, Paternal grandmother, Ruthanna "Tottie" Titus, Fairmount; niece, Breana (Jake) Chenoweth; nephew, Austin Williams; great nieces and nephews, Kadance, Bo, Sebastian, Lily and Baylan.

Randi was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Hubert and Ruby Howell and her step-father James E. Dickey.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Fairmount Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 415 South Main, Fairmount, Indiana where visitation will be on Friday, September 15, 2023 from 1-3 PM with the funeral service following at 3 PM with Dr. Tom Mansbarger officiating. Burial will be at Park Cemetery, Fairmount.
