Penny Biddle

Penny Sue Biddle, 60, of Upland, died on Friday, January 31, 2025 at Marion Health after an extended illness.

Penny was born on August 5, 1964, in Seymour, Indiana, daughter of the late James A. and Clara (Brophey) Meek. She was a 1982 graduate of Madison-Grant High School and was a homemaker. She married Clayton Biddle on October 5, 1995. He survives. Spending time with her 17 grandchildren was the joy of her life. When living in Summitville, Penny was known as the "Town Baby Sitter" She was a good cook and loved feeding her family as well as her children's friends and neighborhood kids when they were growing up. She also enjoyed crafting, singing, dancing and going to the beach.

Along with her husband Clayton, Penny is survived by her children; Doug (Kristy) Lewis, LaFontaine, Elisha (Jeremiah) Stanley, Fairmount, Cassie (Randy) Hollan, Matthews, James (Kristen) Lewis, Frankfort, Mary (Camron) Stevens, Kokomo; 17 grandchildren, Payton, Jonathan, LibertyAnn, Kristopher, Miah Grace, Miles, Meeka, Gracie, Madison, Adam, Angel, Daniel, Moses, Peter, Audrey, Eleanor, and Dexter; siblings, Michael (Ann) Meek, Lake City, FL, Kristy Snyder, Rose Maley, Anna Meek and Lloyd Meek; and step-mother Rachel Meek.

Arrangements for Penny have been entrusted to the Fairmount Chapel of Armes-Hunt Life Celebration Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 415 S. Main Street, Fairmount, Indiana. Service for Penny will be held at First Church of the Nazarene, 700 W. Kem Road, Marion, Indiana on Thursday, February 6, 2025. Visitation will be from 11 AM-1 PM with a funeral service celebrating Penny's life at 1 PM with her son Pastor James Lewis officiating. Burial will follow at Parkview Cemetery in Alexandria.
