Pauline A. Ott

Pauline A. Ott, 82, passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2019, in Marion. She was born in Peasticks, KY, on October 12, 1936, to the late Lee and Margaret (Purvis) Corey. Pauline graduated from Van Buren High School, Class of 1954. She worked as a clerk at Woolworths Department Store and then had her own in-home daycare for 30 plus years. Pauline was a member of the College Wesleyan Church and attended Westview Wesleyan Church. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and doing all sorts of crafts. She enjoyed every single minute she was able to spend with her family and loved her grandchildren more than anything else in this world. ~She Fought The Good Fight~ Fight the good fight for the true faith. The family would like to specifically thank their friends, Linda, Tracy, Stephanie, Cristia, Nate and all the other staff members at Faithful Friends Home Healthcare as well as all the staff members at Heart to Heart Hospice for the exceptional care and love that they gave to Pauline. Pauline is survived by her children, Bill (Kim) Purvis, Jonesboro; Anna (Danny) Venable, Warner Robins, GA; Tim (Tiffany) Musto, Warner Robins, GA; Cecil (Barb) Purvis, Spencerville; siblings, Susan (Taylor) Holloway, Swayzee; Mary (Steve) Martz, AZ; Chris (Randy) Janne, Paducah, KY; sisters-in-law, Patty Brooks, Fort Wayne and Mary Brooks, Murfreesboro, TN; brother-in-law, Kenny Pittman, Murfreesboro, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, Francis Ott and Bill Purvis, three of her grandchildren, her brothers Cecil Corey, Raymond Brooks, and Ralph Brooks, sisters Margie Pittman and Gladys Kane. Arrangements for Pauline have been entrusted to College Park Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home Cremation Services, 4601 South Western Avenue, Marion, Indiana 46953, where a visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, June 2, 2019, from 2:00-6:00 PM. The funeral services will be held at Westview Wesleyan Church, 1300 West 6th Street, Jonesboro, Indiana, 46938, on Monday, June 3, 2019, at 10:30 AM, with Pastor Ryan Budde and Pastor Ron Forsythe officiating.
