Patty L. HowardWhybrew88, a lifelong resident of Upland, Indiana, died Wednesday, August 30, 2017, at the University Nursing Center in Upland. Patty was born in Jefferson Township September 25, 1928, to the late Stephen and Dorothy (Futrell) Howard. She was a 1947 graduate of Jefferson Township High School. Patty was a telephone operator for Indiana Bell Telephone Company for 23 years, from 1956-1979. She married JosephWhybrewon April 27, 1996, at Upland Friends Church and he preceded her in death. A member of the Upland Friends Church, she was active in the United Society of Friends Women. She was a member of theKokomoChapter of the Telephone Pioneers of America. Survivors include sister-in-law, Janet Howard, Hartford City, Indiana, several nieces and nephews, step-children, Jewel (Sergio) Pereira, Phoenix, AZ, Rebecca (Felix)Delgado, Phoenix, AZ David (Ruth)Whybrew, Upland, Indiana and Paul (Susie)Whybrew,Fortville, Indiana She was preceded in death by a sister; Kathleen Price and brothers, John, Everett, and James Howard.
