Nathaleen Ann Ford

Nathaleen A. Ford, 98, passed away on Monday, August 12, 2024, at Marion Health. Nathaleen was born on July 25, 1926, to the late Sherman and Bertha Thomas. She worked for Glass House in Illinois, as well as Owens-Illinois. Along with her husband, Robert, she owned Ford's Used Furniture in Marion. In her free time, she enjoyed bowling, crocheting, and sitting in the sun.

Nathaleen is survived by her sons, Charles (Patricia) Ford, Fowlerton, and Randy (Alice) Smith, Dale Hollow, Kentucky; grandchildren, Rob and Aaron (Sheena) Nyros, Matthew (Julie), Robert (Sarah Thompson), Charlotte (Tina), and Gloria Ford, Aaron and Aerial Purvis, and Ariana (Bradley) Bynum; great-grandchildren, Juniper and Eshee Nyros, Grant, Connor, Donavan, Tristan, and Georgie Ford, Morgan and Jordan Hartley, Lexya, Luca, Trinitti, and Tatum Purvis, Adaline Bynum; and special nieces and nephews, Joyce, Codeanne, Fred, Tamadal, and Sharon.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sherman and Bertha; husbands, Russell Gibson and Robert Ford; special friend, Tom Smith; son, Nathan (Donna) Gibson; daughter, Marylin Gibson; aunt, Madeline Warner; and siblings, Joseph (Lily), Harry (Eadbell), John, and Hugh (Doris) Thomas, Clara Bell (Russell) Corn, Ellen Dell Ross, Catherine Nell (Charlie) Bisbee, Barbara Zell (Cliffton) Chambers, and Kathleen Nan (Wendell) Ende.

Arrangements for Nathaleen have been entrusted to the College Park Chapel of Armes-Hunt Life Celebration Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 4601 South Western Avenue, Marion, Indiana 46953, where a visitation will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow with Pastor Thomas Glenn Davis officiating.
