Nancy Williams

Nancy went home to be with her Lord, Sunday, May 15, 2022 and to her husband, the late Bill Williams after a brief battle with cancer. Nancy was a longtime resident of Jonesboro, Indiana until she moved to Fairmount. Nancy was a loving mother, sister, and grandmother. She did not know a stranger and took care of all her kids' friends. Nancy worked at RCA/Thompson for 28 years in the Q-set department. Nancy is survived by her sons, Dale (Kathy) Williams, Barry (Deb) Williams, Clif (Linda) Williams, Bill (Gail) Williams, and her daughter, Lori Shelby. She is also survived by her brother Mike Armstrong and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, William (Bill) Williams, son-in-law, Edward Shelby, brothers, Larry and David Armstrong and parents, James Dale and Genevieve (Poole) Armstrong, and grandson, Michael Dane Williams. Services for Nancy will be at Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 415 S. Main Street, Fairmount, Indiana. Visitation is Wednesday, May 18, 2022, from 4-7 PM. Funeral service for Nancy is Thursday, May 19, 2022, at 10 AM with Pastor Jeff Luedtke officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Gas City.
