Nancy Lynn Knee

Nancy Lynn Knee, 83, of Marion, Indiana, went to be with her Lord and Savior at 2:40 p.m., on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at Ascension St. Vincent Heart Center in Carmel, Indiana. She entered this world on November 8, 1939, in Wabash, Indiana, born to Kenneth and Martha (Ridenour) Emrick. Nancy married Larry Knee on June 12, 1959, at College Corner Brethren Church in Wabash, he survives.

She was a graduate of Somerset High School class of 1957. Nancy was a homemaker for most of her life tending to the needs of her family. She worked for a period as a home school coordinator for Converse Elementary, where she often led the Wednesday morning Bible study group. Nancy was a member of the Converse Church of Christ. She was very devoted to her faith and reading her Bible.

Family gatherings and her family were the most important to Nancy. She enjoyed her time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Nancy especially enjoyed Sunday afternoon popcorn on the porch of her home with her family. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking, crocheting, crossword puzzles, flower gardening, and watching birds.

In addition to her loving husband of 63 years, Larry, she is survived by her three children, Wendy (Dana) Biggs, of Converse, Indiana, Paige Warren and Heather Knee, both of Marion; nine grandchildren, Isaac (Elizabeth) Biggs, Levi (Brandi) Biggs, Anna Biggs, Ezra Biggs, Arin (Marcus) Corn, Alyssa (Calvin Knotts) Warren, Daimon Knee, Hailey (Mitch) Antle, and Glorie Knee; 17 great-grandchildren, Evelyn, Ruth, Ezekiel, Esther, Gideon, Phoebe, Priscilla, Reuben, Maverick, Pierson, Phoenix, Declan, Malachi, Elijah, Generito, Roman, and Tallia; and a sister, Rebecca Null, of Knightstown. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother-in-law, Don Null; grandson, Andrew Warren; and great-grandchild, Myla Antle.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, February 25, 2023, at Converse Church of Christ, 301 E. Wabash Street, Converse, Indiana, with Pastor Solomon David officiating. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
