Michael David Morgan

Michael David Morgan, 56, passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at Aperion Care in Marion, Indiana. Michael was born on September 19, 1966, to the late Charles Clayton and Madeline Ann Morgan. He graduated from Madison-Grant High School, class of 1985. On May 28, 1994, he married Barbara Morgan, and she survives. Michael worked in security for Walmart Distribution Center for 15 years. He was a member of Upland United Methodist Church. As a child, Michael was a member of DeMolay International. He was also a member of the Upland Lions Club for a few years. He enjoyed doing yardwork, gardening, woodworking, and making stained glass. He also was an animal lover and had a beloved cat, Mel.

Michael is survived by his sons, Trenton (Reese Shelton) Morgan, and Trevor Morgan, both of Upland; his former wife, Barb; sisters, Joan Tedder, Fairmount, and Debi Morgan, Maryville, TN; brother, Dan Morgan, Terre Haute; and nieces and nephews, Jennifer Morris, and Steven, Clay, Clint, and Mary Morgan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Madeline; brother-in-law, Jim Tedder; grandparents, Omar and Esther Morgan, and Herbert and Vera Shafer; father-in-law, Charles Coyle; mother-in-law, Ella Coyle; and several aunts and uncles.

Arrangements for Michael have been entrusted to the Jones-Smith Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 259 North Main Street, Upland, Indiana 46989, where a visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. A time of sharing will follow at 1:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
