Maschellewas born July 23, 1964, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to the late Buddy L. and JudithWilcoxonChapman. Her mother survives in Marion, Indiana. She married John W.DownamJune 16, 1989, and he survives. She was a graduate ofEastbrookHigh School, attended Southside Wesleyan Church, Gas City, and enjoyed doing crafts and playing video games. She is survived by children, John W.Downam,Jr., Gas City, IN, Adam Chapman, Ft. Wayne, IN, and Ashley Chapman Sands, Marion, IN; grandchildren, Elizabeth and Matthew Miller, Michael Sands,NevaehChapman, Carter and CooperDownam; and brother; Jamie Chapman, Marion, IN. She is preceded in death by her father, Buddy Chapman, a brother, Kevin Chapman, and son-in-law, Craig Sands. Funeral forMaschellewill be at noon, Wednesday, April 11, 2018, at Southside Wesleyan Church, 312 E. S. E St., Gas City, IN. Interment will be at Grant Memorial Park Cemetery, Marion, IN.
