Martha Jane Sparks

Martha Jane Sparks passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at Marion Health. She was born in Spencer, Indiana on September 25, 1944 to the late Harry and Lois (Greenwood) Edwards. Martha attended school at Elwood High School where she graduated.

Martha retired from RCA in production. She married her love of her life, Dale E. Sparks in December of 1988. Martha loved to spend time with her husband, sewing, and knitting. She also had a love for animals as well.

Martha will be missed by her husband Dale E. Sparks; step daughter, Melissa (John) Bowen of Anderson; grandchildren, Cassie (Travis) Medley, Cody Martin, Kaleb (Haleigh) Bowen, and Kameron Bowen; great-grandchildren, Ryker Medley, Ayden Medley, Lennon Bowen, Jude Bowen, and Kali Martin; sister Jean; nephew, Bobby.

She is preceded in her passing by her parents, Harry and Lois (Greenwood) Edwards; brother, Bobby Edwards; sister, June; great-grandchildrem, Kaiden Prins, Remington Medley, and Sullivan Medley.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the College Park Chapel of Armes-Hunt Life Celebration Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 4601 S. Western Ave. Marion, IN 46953. A graveside service will be held at Park Cemetery in Fairmount, Indiana on Monday, November 13, 2023 at 2:00p.m..
