Marion Catherine Webb

Marion Catherine Webb, age 91, joined her loved ones in Heaven on January 17, 2024 in Warren, Indiana.

Marion was born September 14, 1932, in Harrison County, MO, the daughter of Virgil Earl and Ruby (Allen) Mathes.

On May 21, 1950, she married Donald Webb, and they were married 73 years who survives in Warren, IN

Marion received Christ as her Savior in September 1967, and her desire became that others might see Jesus in her and that all of her children would be saved. As the years progressed, she saw this prayer answered. She worked outside their home some throughout the years, but most of her time was spent in caring for her home and family. She taught a Ladies Bible Class for over 35 years, worked for decades as a deaf interpreter and was a member of the Upland Community Church in Upland, IN at the time of her passing. She was a graduate of Eagleville High School in Eagleville, MO

She was preceded in death by her parents (Virgil Earl & Ruby Mathes), an infant sister (Marilyn), and a son (Allen).

In addition to her husband, she leaves a son, John Webb (Marchelle) of Merrillville, IN, two daughters, Kelsie Rodman (Robert) of Upland, IN and Kayla Meyers (Ron) of Westville, IN., daughter-in-law, Susan Webb, Minneapolis, MN., a sister-in-law, Jean Roland of Springfield, MO, eleven grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren (with another on the way).

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 25 at the Upland Community Church (439 W. Berry Ave). The family will receive friends 4-6 pm on Wednesday, January 24, at Jones-Smith Chapel Armes-Hunt Life Celebration Funeral Home and Cremation Services, (259 North Main St) and for an hour preceding the funeral at the church on Thursday.
