Marilyn A. Mcgraw

Marilyn A. McGraw, 86 of Fairmount, died Wednesday, April 24,2019at Community Hospital in Anderson. Marilyn was born in Grant County on August 3, 1932, daughter of the late Herman and MabelLaVonne(Bradford) Seeley. She graduated fromSwayzeeHigh School in 1950. Marilyn married John M. McGraw on June 29, 1952. John preceded her in death on June 8, 2014. Marilyn worked at RCA from 1952-1955 along with cleaning houses and catering, and baking cakes. She was a member of Jones Chapel Church where she was part of the Willing Workers and played the piano and organ for 40 years. Marilyn is survived by three sons; Brad (Lori) McGraw of LaGrange, Eric (Laurie) McGraw of Jackson, WI and John Alan McGraw of Fairmount; sister; Arlene (Don) Strong, San Antonio, TX; nine grandchildren; Scott (Kara) McGraw, Doug McGraw, Rachel (Ed) Dixon, Holly (Jason) Lester, MacKennaMcGraw,KeaganMcGraw, MalloriMcGraw, Grant McGraw, Reid McGraw 6 Great Grandchildren; Sarah, Elijah,Chiara,Terrel, Dion and Alexis, and 2 great-great-grandchildren;LyniahandZeryn Along with her parents and husband, Marilyn was also preceded in death by her son Philip in 2001 and her sister,TrevaBennett in 2018. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Fairmount Chapel ofArmes-HuntFuneral Home and Cremation Services, 415 S. Main Street, Fairmount, Indiana where visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 1,2019from 4-8 PM. Funeral service is on Thursday, May 2,2019at 11 AM with Dr. Tom Jones officiating. Burial will be at Knox Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Jones Chapel Church or to Cancer Services of Grant County in care of the funeral home.
