Margaret Louella Barnett

Margaret Louella (Johnson) Barnett, 77, of Elwood, died Friday, November 22, 2019 at St. Vincent Mercy Hospital in Elwood. Margaret was born in Vanceburg, Kentucky on December 22, 1941, daughter of the late Maurice Johnson and Cora Belle (Smith) Morgan. Margaret was a production worker at Thompson Consumer Electronics for 37 years. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and doing word searches. Margaret is survived by four children, Brenda (Ron) Silvey, Elwood, Oscar (Tina) Stevenson, Fairmount, Cora (Charles) Hoots, Marion, and William (Rhonda) Stevenson, Florida; 16 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Fairmount Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 415 S. Main Street, Fairmount, Indiana where visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2019, from 11 AM -12 PM with a memorial service beginning at 12 PM.
