Margaret 'June' Holloway

Margaret June Holloway, 87 of Peru andformerlyof Jonesboro, died Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at Dukes Memorial Hospital inPeru after a brief illness. June was born in Grant County, Indiana on June 11, 1930, daughter of the late Walker and Edna (Hoppel) Pearson. She graduated from Jonesboro High School in 1948 and married the love of her life, Joseph C.Holloway on January 9, 1953. He preceded her in death onApril 1, 2014. June was a homemaker. She was extremely proud of the family she and Joe created. Their home was filled with love and humor. She loved cooking for her family and alsoenjoyed flower gardening,embroidery, and reading She is survived by three children; Joseph (GinnyTimbs) Holloway, Fairmount, Jeff (Tammy) Holloway, Jonesboro, andDeborah (Dan) Fulton, Peru,fivegrandchildren; Kim (Chad) Campbell,GasCity, Kellie (Eric)Skeens, Marion,Lyndsay(Parker) Woods, Tipton, IN, Christian (Shelby) Fulton, Peru, IN, Joseph (Paige Conley) Holloway,Kokomo, and Mandy Holloway, Jonesboro, 4 great-grandchildren; HeismanandHaleighSkeensand Cade and Carson Campbell, sister, Carolyn (Larry) Adams, Anderson. June was preceded in death by her parents, husband Joe of 61 years, son David Holloway, Brothers, Ellis, Loren and Calvin Pearson, and sisters, LouiseDilleyand Mary Johnson. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Fairmount Chapel ofArmes-HuntFuneral Home and Cremations Services, 415 S. Main Street, Fairmount, Indianawhere the family will receive friends on Friday, May 11, 2018 from 4-8 PM. Funeral celebrating Juneslifewill be Saturday, May 12, 2018at 10 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Mark Atkinson officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to Little Red Door or Cancer Services of Grant County in care of the funeral home.
