Luella M. Lynch

Luella M. Lynch,93 of Jonesboro, IN died Friday, December 23, 2016 at Marion General Hospital. Luella was born in Alexandria, Indiana on December 24, 1922, the oldest of seven children born to the lateJabezVirgil Farrington and Eda Mae Alexander Farrington. She graduated from the Soldiers and Sailors Childrens Home in 1941 and from St. Johns Nursing School in 1945. Luella retired in 1987 fromBradnerVillage. She had been a nurse for 40 years also working at St. Johns Hospital, Marion General Hospital, Davis Clinic, Riverview Manor and also providing some private nursing. She married Raymond Lynch on June 7, 1947. He preceded her in death on August 11, 1997. She was a 50 year member of the Jonesboro Eastern Star and amember of theFowlertonUnitedMethodist Church. Luella enjoyed hand work, crewel and embroidery, flower and vegetable gardening, riding snowmobiles, fishing,swimming, playing euchre and canasta and was an avid fan of the Cubs and Pacers. Luella is survived by: sister, GraceReavis, Anderson, sister-in-law,Kathleen Hook, Jonesboro, niece,Lourae(Dave) Rumple, Jonesboro, and nephew,DeWayneHook, Jonesboro. Armes-HuntFuneral Home Cremation Services, 415 S. Main Street, Fairmount, Indiana are handling arrangements. There will be a memorial service on Sunday, January 22, 2017 atFowlertonUnited Methodist Church at 2 PM.
