Lisa May Bosworth

Lisa M. (Stafford) Bosworth, 59, went to be with the Lord at 2:40 a.m. on July 16, 2023, surrounded by her family. Lisa was born to the late Arthur Stafford and Nancy King. She married Richard (Rick), and he preceded her in death in 2001. Lisa worked at the Chronicle Tribune, was a kitchen manager at Applebee's, and was a waitress at J&L Restaurant. She enjoyed her regular customers. She loved music and concerts. She loved Harley rides with her sister, flowers, and her cat, Girl.

Lisa is survived by her daughter, Amanda Garmon, Muncie; son, Ricky (Kelsey) Bosworth, Kokomo; sisters, Trina Horn, Marion, Tamara Stafford, Orlando, and Lorena King, Greentown; grandchildren, Gracie Stafford, Abigail and Hannah Garmon, and Harrison and Maggie Bosworth; aunt Susan Hollowell-Chastain; niece, Heather Horn; nephew, Andrew Stafford; and great-nephew, Michael VanDeMerwe.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Nancy; husband, Richard; brother, Edward Stafford; and best friend, Franklin Washington.

Arrangements for Lisa have been entrusted to the College Park Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 4601 South Western Avenue, Marion, Indiana 46953, where a visitation will be held on Friday, July 28, from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Dr. Tom Mansbarger officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
