Lisa K. Wolfe

Lisa K. Wolfe, 40, of Upland, died at her home surrounded by her family on Saturday, May 20, 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Lisa was a dynamic person, upbeat, engaging, friendly, yet opinionated when she needed to be, loved by all who knew her. She loved sports, attending sporting events, and played soccer while in high school. She enjoyed cycling, the beach, and reading, was a lover of God's Word and a member of Upland Community Church. She also spent years involved with the Upland Branch of M.O.P.S.

She graduated in 2001 from Elida High School (Elida, Ohio) and from Cedarville University with a degree in nursing in 2005. As a registered nurse she worked at Marion Health and was a clinical instructor for Indiana Wesleyan University, and previously at Community Hospital, Anderson, IN. Most of her nursing years were in labor and delivery. Lisa was able to be a stay-at-home mom of three boys for four years and loved every minute of it.

Lisa was born in Dayton, Ohio, on October 14, 1982, to Rodney "Rod" and Linda (Mapel) Hansen. They survive her and live in Lima, Ohio. She married Gregory J. "Greg" Wolfe on August 20, 2005, in Lima, Ohio, who survives her.

Other survivors include her children: Brady, Cooper, and Trevor Wolfe, brothers: Ryan (Cristin) Hansen, Holland, MI, paternal grandmother: Betty Hansen.

She is preceded in death by grandparents: William and Janet Mapel and grandfather: Leroy Hansen.

Funeral arrangements for Lisa are entrusted to Jones-Smith Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 259 N. Main St., Upland, Indiana 46989. The family will be having all of Lisa's services at the Upland Community Church, 439 West Berry Avenue, Upland, Indiana 46898. On Wednesday, May 24, 2023, the family will have a visitation for friends and family from 2:00 - 3:30 P.M. and then from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. On Thursday, May 25, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. there will be a funeral service with Pastor Mark Biehl officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Jefferson Cemetery, Upland, Indiana.
