Linda Williams

Linda S. Williams of Marion, Indiana, peacefully passed away at Marion Health on Monday, October 15, 2024. Born on October 13, 1937, in Jonesboro, Indiana, she graduated from Mississinewa High School, and dedicated her life to her role as a mother and a housekeeper in the nursing homes industry, serving diligently at Wesleyan Health Care. Her commitment to her work was unwavering, and she touched the lives of many with her kindness and dedication. Linda was a member of Jonesboro Friends Church.

She leaves behind her loving sons, Steve (Dr. Mara) Williams and James Williams; grandchildren Nate (Andrea) Williams; Cavan Williams, and Jeremy Richard, who will forever cherish the memories they shared with her. Linda was known for her caring nature, warm smile, and her ability to bring joy to those around her. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. May she rest in eternal peace.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Watson and Mildred (Overmyer) Jay; and sister Judy (Warren) Beeson.

The arrangements for Linda were entrusted to the Mississinewa Chapel of Armes-Hunt Life Celebration Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 200 North 7th Street, Gas City, Indiana 46933, where on Monday, October 21st, 2024 there will be a visitation from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M., with the funeral beginning at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Brad Wright officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Park Cemetery in Fairmount, Indiana.
