Linda K. Hoskins

Linda K. Hoskins, 75, died at 11:30 AM, on Monday, October 9, 2023, at her Fowlerton, Indiana residence surrounded by her family.

She entered this world on November 30, 1947, in New Albany, Indiana. She attended Marion Schools. Linda was a loving and easy going person, with a bit of an ornery streak, that was all about her family. She loved watching movies, especially the scary ones. 60's, 70's, 80's and blue grass gospel was her favorite music but she loved all genres. Linda loved fishing, all animals and nature, spending many hours in the woods and taking long walks in the country. She had a special fondness of wolves and Native American Indians. When she couldn't be outside she enjoyed collecting dolls, coloring, drawing, and jigsaw puzzles. She liked to sew and quilt, leaving behind a precious memory for her nieces and nephews of the pillows she made for them.

Linda is survived by her brother Charles (Kathie) Hoskins; of Fowlerton; nieces, Kristy (Chad) Cunningham, Karen Hoskins, Teresa (Kevin) Stevens, Sheena Freshwater, Corrina (Matt) Kulhanek, and Caryn (Scott) Hinze; nephews, Brian (Jessica) Hoskins, Sean Hoskins, Jerry (Heidi) Stevens, and Christopher (Sara) Hinze; aunt, Bernice Owens, and several great nieces and nephews.

Linda was preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Helen and Joseph Adkins and sister, Juanita (George) Stevens and a niece Dianna Stevens.

Services for Linda will be held at the Fairmount Chapel of Armes-Hunt Life Celebration Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 415 South Main Street, Fairmount, IN 46928, with Pastor Brian Wise officiating on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at 11 AM. Visitation is Tuesday, October 17, 2023 from 3-6 PM and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Grant Memorial Park, Marion, Indiana.
