Larry Jeffries

Larry was born on July 20, 1947 in Marion, Indiana, son of the late Chester and Nora (McAtee) Jeffries. He graduated from Fairmount High School in 1965. Soon after on September 3rd of that year, Larry married his high school sweetheart, Brenda Munday. Larry also joined the Navy that same year serving from 1965-1969 as a radioman. Larry was a truck driver for many years. He retired from RL Carriers after 22 years earning the million mile award and many safety awards. Larry and Brenda had attended the Family Worship Center in Kokomo for many years where Larry helped with the audio. Larry enjoyed woodworking and remodeling their home. At Christmas, Larry loved to make peanut butter fudge to share with his family and friends. He loved spending time with his family. He had a special fondness for his grandchildren. They were his world.

Larry is survived by his wife of 59 years, Brenda; Children Kevin (Robin) Jeffries, Summitville, and Jennifer (Clifff) Favors, New Castle; 7 grandchildren,Travis Jeffries, Jordan Jeffries, Austin (Sabrina) Jeffries, Justin Wisnieski, Peyton Wisieski, Ashton Wisnieski, and Brooke Johnson; great-grandchildren, Kycin Jeffries, Keegan Hayes, Zaydin Jeffries, Areia Lee, Lakelynn Wisnieski, and soon to arrive Ellieana Wisnieski; siblings, Victor (Susan) Jeffries, TN, Everett (Joy) Jeffries, Fairmount, and Linda Moore, Jonesboro; and his sweet k-9 Cavapoo, Paisley.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Nora, and a grandson Tristan Wisnieski.

Services for Larry have been entrusted to the Fairmount Chapel of Armes-Hunt Life

Celebration Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 415 S. Main Street, Fairmount, Indiana. There will be no services.
