Larry J. Garrison

Larry J. Garrison, 66, passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, in Muncie. Larry was born on August 6, 1956, in Marion, to the late Lawrence and Anna Garrison. He graduated from Eastbrook High School. Larry married the love of his life Jacqueline (Harrell) Garrison on November 17, 1984. He was a farmer, he started at a young age farming for his father, and continued farming for many years. He attended cosmetology school and became a barber, he had a barber shop inside of his home for several years. He attended New Hope Church in Muncie since 2016.

Larry was a fun-loving, caring, and funny guy. He loved spending time with his family. Larry played a huge role in his nephews childhoods, he took them hiking in the woods, played board games with them, and took them on tractor rides in the fields.

He is survived by wife, Jacqueline Garrison, Upland; son, Andrew Ryan Garrison, Joplin, MO; sister, Janet Baller, Fort Wayne; nephews, Jeffrey R. (Lori Grayson) Garrison, Pennville; Jay P. (Joanna) Garrison, Albany; Robert D. Baller, Fort Wayne; and Craig D. (Dani) Baller; Williamsburg, VA; sisters-in-law, Teresa L. (Earl Gene) Lemmings, AL; and Jeanne L. (Brad) Mensing, AL.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Anna (Hunter) Garrison; and brother, Tom Garrison.

Arrangements for Larry have been entrusted to Jones-Smith Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 259 North Main Street, Upland, Indiana 46989, where on Saturday, May 20, 2023, there will be an hour of visitation from 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M., then the funeral service beginning at 1:00 P.M. Burial will immediately follow at Matthews Cemetery, in Matthews.
