Larry D. Hurlock

Larry D. Hurlock, 61, died Sunday, October 30, 2022 at his Gas City residence.

Larry was born in Marion, Indiana on January 19, 1961, son of the late Hilda M. (Bailey) Hurlock. He graduated from Marion High School in 1979. He married Diana Smith on August 26, 2012. Larry worked at Exxon in Jonesboro in Machine Maintenance. Larry was a quiet man that spoke when he had something important to say. He was a family man that loved spending time with his grandkids and his cat Puss. He enjoyed riding and working on his antique N30 Massey Ferguson Tractor and attending antique tractor shows. He also enjoyed spending time in the woods deer hunting. He was an avid John Grisham reader, enjoyed his Harley Davidson Motorcycle, the Indianapolis Colts and NASCAR and hanging out in his man cave.

Larry is survived by the love of his life, Diana; daughter, Meghan Hurlock, Converse; step-children, Joshua (Rebecca) Smith, Marion, Jeremy Smith, Shannon(Mathew) Smith, and Jared (Jade) Smith, all of Gas City; grandchildren, Carson, Aubrianna, Madeline, Hannah, Nicholas, Kira, Emma, Noah, Liam, and another grandson due to arrive in March; sister, Brenda Ellis, Marion;  nephew, Adam McDonald, TX; and life long friend, Rodney (Teresa) Yeater, Marion.

Larry is preceded in death by his Mother, and son, Austin Hurlock, and grandson, Brayden.

Services will be held at the Fairmount Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 415 South Main Street, Fairmount, Indiana on Friday, November 4, 2011. Visitation is from 11 AM - 1 PM with a funeral service at 1 PM, Steve Armes officiating. Burial will be at Park Cemetery, Fairmount.
