Kennie W. Roberts, age 71, of Marion, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 17, 2025. Born on July 7, 1953, in Albany, Kentucky, he was the beloved son of Willadean (Guffey) Roberts and the late William Roberts.

A self-employed truck driver, Kennie owned and operated Roberts Trucking for over 30 years, dedicating his life to his work and the open road. He was deeply loved and cherished by his family. Kennie was immensely proud of his grandchildren and treasured the moments spent together.

Kennie was known for his determined spirit and unwavering dedication to his family. He enjoyed engaging in activities such as fishing, camping, visiting thrift stores, and attending auctions. You could always find Kennie in his barn fiddling with something. Despite his strong-willed nature, he was a nurturing father and grandfather, instilling values of hard work and integrity in his loved ones.

Kennie was preceded in death by his cherished wife, Patricia A. (Brewster) Roberts, who passed away on January 17, 2017.

He is survived by his children, Kathy (Roy) Noland, La Fontaine; Susie (Richard) Messler, Kokomo; Kennie (Amy) Roberts Jr., Anderson; Becky (Jason) Green; and Sherry (Jay) Castor; sisters, Mary (Steve) Hedrick, Fairmount; and Marilyn Felton, Montpelier; brother Eddie Roberts, TN; 15 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Kennie was preceded in death by: wife Patricia Roberts, parents, William and Willadean Roberts, and brothers, Donnie and Marty Roberts.

Arrangements for Kennie have been entrusted to the Fairmount Chapel of Armes-Hunt Life Celebration Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 415 South Main Street, Fairmount, Indiana 46928, where on Saturday, March 22, 2025, the family will have a visitation from 11:00 to 1:00 P.M., with a funeral service beginning at 1:00 P.M., burial will immediately follow at Park Cemetery, Fairmount.

Memorial contributions may be made in honor of Kennie to Armes-Hunt Funeral Home to help the family defray funeral costs.
