Kenneth "Kenny" W. Wood

Kenneth "Kenny" W. Wood passed away at his residence on May 19, 2022, at the age of 56. He was born on May 26, 1965 to Phillip W. "Skip" Wood and Patricia K (Jones) Wood. Kenny was a graduate of Madison Grant High School in 1983. Kenny was a self-employed Kitchen Cabinet Sales Representative. He enjoyed working and helping people. Later in life Kenny married the love of his life Emilie (Fox) Wood on May 8, 2008. Kenny was a good man. He loved each of his children so much. He loved to attend concerts with Emilie, spending time with his grandkids and family. The outdoors is where Kenny could be found, he loved his working in the yard, spending time in Michigan, and he also loved to fish. Kenny will always be remembered by his boyish grin and the ability to find humor in any situation. His laughter would always fill the room. Kenny is survived by his parents, Phillip and Patricia Wood, Fairmount; wife Emilie (Fox) Wood, of Fairmount; sons, Jacob Wood of Fairmount, and Phillip (Gabriela) Wood, of Austin, TX, and Jordan Costner of Marion; daughters, Samantha Costner of Converse, and Cydney (Jordan) Zirkle of Fairmount; 5 grandchildren, Abigail Lane, Easton Turner, Levi Wood, Emmarey Stevens, and Karalynn Zirkle. Services for Kenny will be held at Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 415 S. Main Street, Fairmount, Indiana. Visitation will be on Sunday, May 22, 2022, from 2-6 PM. The Funeral service will be Monday, May 23, 2022 at 10:00am. Memorial contributions can be made out to St. Judes Childrens Hospital in care of the funeral home.
