Judith K. Monts

Judith K. Monts passed away on Sunday May 7, 2023 at Colonial Oaks. Judith was born to Willis and Mary (Baldwin) Hoke in Marion, Indiana on April 26, 1941. She graduated from Fairmount in 1959. She graduated from Indiana Business School with a degree in bookkeeping and went to work at Devoe Chevrolet where she met her husband Bill. They wed on July 23, 1965.

After raising her family, Judith went back to work in housekeeping at Suite Living before retirement. Judith was a member of Sunnycrest Community Church where she was a youth group teacher and held various offices over the years. She enjoyed working with the youth and the elderly. Judith was a member of the Christmas City Squares for 15 years.

Judith is survived by her husband, son Curt, daughter Christi (Greg) St. Charles, brother Kenneth (Candace) Hoke, sisters Janet (Don) Garner, Jane (David) Cain, and Mary Jean Pritchett four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Phillip Hoke and daughter-in-law Angela Monts.

Arrangements for Judith have been entrusted to the College Park Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services. A visitation will be held Thursday May 11, 2023 from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 with Reverend Joe Coffin officiating.
