John McGraw

John "Alan" A. McGraw, 69, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2024, at Marion Health. Alan was born on July 20, 1955, in Marion, to the late John M. and Marilyn (Seeley) McGraw. He graduated from Madison Grant, Class of 1973. Alan was a contractor and owner of McGraw's Construction.

Alan enjoyed spending time with his family, playing softball and golf, and also going to casinos.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Philip McGraw.

Alan is survived by his children, Doug McGraw, Jonesboro; Scott (Kara) McGraw, Swayzee; grandchildren, Sarah McGraw, Chiara Minor, and Elijah Minor; and brothers, Eric (Laurie) McGraw, Jackson, WI; and Brad (Lori) McGraw, LaGrange; and many nieces and nephews.

Arrangements for Alan were entrusted to the Fairmount Chapel of Armes-Hunt Life Celebration Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 415 South Main Street, Fairmount, Indiana 46928, where on Sunday, December 22, 2024, there will be a visitation held from 2:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M., then on Monday, December 23, 2024, there will be a funeral service held at 10:00 A.M. being officiated by Pastor Josh Shoemaker. Burial will immediately follow at Knox Chapel, Fairmount, Indiana.
