Jimmie D. Yeley

Jimmie D. Yeley, 74, died late Wednesday night, June 12, 2019, in Visiting Nurse Hospice Home, Fort Wayne. He was born in Hartford City on September 10, 1944, the son of the late William G. and Leah (Rockey) Yeley. Jimmie enjoyed his life on the family farm, his numerous friends and acquaintances, neighbors and caregivers. He didnt know a stranger. Jimmie, a client of Care Services for approximately 50 years, enjoyed a special relationship with his long term caregivers, staff, and coworkers. Survivors include a brother: Larry (Carol) Yeley, McCordsville; and a sister: JanEtta Tinsley, Enid, Oklahoma; and nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, WillaRose Parson, and a brother, William Glenn Yeley, II. Arrangements were entrusted to the Jones-Smith Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home Cremation Services, where a visitation will be held from 9-11 am, Monday, June 17, 2019. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM, with Tim Purdom officiating. Burial will be in Matthews Cemetery, Matthews. Memorial contributions may be made to Woodland Hills Church of Christ, 2718 N.
