Jerri J Marks

Jerri J. Marks, 64, of Gas City, Indiana, died at 2:20 A.M., on Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at her daughter's home in Gas City. She entered this world on April 30, 1958, in Marion, Indiana. She was adopted by her parents Gerald and Buelah Baker. Jerri first married Mark Oden, who preceded her in death. Later, she married Charles E. Marks Jr, and he survives. She was a graduate of Marion High School and was a homemaker for most of her life. Jerri had a few jobs to keep her busy in her spare time, She Also Worked for Gen Corp Automotive in Marion In. before working as a bartender & Cook at Waylon's Bar and the VFW. She was a member of the Marion VFW, American Legion Auxiliary Post 95, and Marion AmVets. In addition to her loving husband, Charles, Jerri is survived by her four children, Christina (Charles) Moore, of Pierceton, Indiana, Kimberly (Paul) Wigner, of Fairmount, Indiana, Lisa Gray, (Kirby Callahan) of Gas City, and Heather Oden, of Wabash, Indiana; Step Children Christina Myers, Charles Mark's III, 28 Grandchildren; and 6 Great-Grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a Grandson, Jordan Eric Gray. Arrangements are entrusted to the College Park Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 4601 South Western Avenue, Marion, IN, where friends may call from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, August 6, 2022. A funeral service will immediately follow at 1:00 PM, with Pastor Johnny McCallister officiating. Burial will follow in Park Lawn Cemetery, Amboy, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made in honor of Jerri to Armes-Hunt Funeral Home to help her family defray funeral expenses.
