Jeremiah Joseph Rupel

Jeremiah Joseph Rupel, 41, passed away tragically on Thursday, January 26, 2023, from injuries sustained in a car accident. Jeremiah was born on February 2, 1981, to the late Stan Rupel and Gina Bosworth, who survives in Upland. He was a great musician and enjoyed playing guitar. He loved listening to music. Jeremiah had a heart of gold and was so generous, he'd give you his last dollar if you needed it. He also was an animal lover and even took his beloved pitbull, Stella, as his date to a wedding once. The light of his life was his little sister, Gabby. He made sure to never leave the house without telling her several times "I love you."

Jeremiah is survived by his mother, Gina; sister, Gabrielle Bosworth, Upland; grandmother, Joyce DeCamp, Upland; uncles, Edward DeCamp, Jr. and Rocci DeCamp; many good friends including Chris Hatfield, Robbie Draper, and John DeCamp; and the family of Marilyn Felton. His friends were so important to him and he will be missed by them immensely.

He was preceded in death by his father, Stan; grandfather, Edward DeCamp; and pitbull, Stella.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Jones-Smith Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 259 North Main Street, P.O. Box 73, Upland, Indiana 46989. In accordance with Jeremiah's wishes, no services will be held and cremation will take place. Contributions may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
