An earthly angel has left us to go claim her heavenly wings.JannattaC. (Maynard) Russell 80, died Friday, July 1, 2016 at herFowlerton, Indiana residence surrounded by her family. She was born on October 21, 1935 inCrossville, Tennessee and later moved toFowlerton, Indiana with her husband where she raised her eight children. She was the best mother a child could have always putting her familys needs first and foremost. She worked at Gen-Corp, Pierce Governor and Avery Dennison. She later fulfilled her true calling in home healthcare where she was thehappiest. She was the most caring,lovingand heartfelt woman you would meet. She was requested by many to comfort their loved ones until the Lord called them home and did so with a full and selfless heart. She was rewarded for her selfless acts with the Angel Award. To us she was an angel of love, joy, strength, security, hope, inspiration, mercy, compassion, knowledge, and most importantly and angel of God. She is survived by her eight children: Anna (Joe)ChitwoodofFairmount, Bill (Cindy) Russell of Fairmount, Patty Fisher ofFowlerton, Janice (Billy)TeegardenofFowlerton, Linda Leech (Bill Daugherty) of Hartford City, Jimmy (Brenda) Russell of Fairmount, Clara (Cliff)Sessomsof Gas City, Bonnie Fisher of Fairmount, 21 Grandchildren, 46 Great Grandchildren, and 4 Great-great grandchildren. Sisters: Louise Dillard Jenkins of Tennessee, Sue (Sheb)Maddinof Kentucky, Joann Lewis of Tennessee, and Nancy Weaver of Arkansas. Brothers: Junior Maynard of Missouri, Burton Maynard of Tennessee,LottenMaynard of Indiana, Paul Maynard of Tennessee, and Samuel Maynard of Tennessee. She is preceded in death by her husband Sam J. Russell, MotherRose LeeBoles Maynard, Father Taylor Cleveland Maynard and brothers Herbert, Raymond, Bill, Robert Maynard and Great Grandson, JerryGoble. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Fairmount Chapel ofArmes-HuntFuneral Home and Cremation Services, 415 S. Main Street, Fairmount, Indiana where her Jannattas funeral will be at 1:00 PM Tuesday July 5, 2016 with Pastor David Morris officiating, entombment will be at Gardens of Memory, Marion, Indiana. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM Memorial contributions may be made to Childrens Cancer Ward, Rileys Childrens Hospital care of the funeral home.
