Janet L. Fox

Janet L. (Mittank) Fox, 88, formerly of Fairmount, died Thursday, April 11, 2019, at Bethany Pointe in Anderson. Janet was born in Fairmount, Indiana, on April 15, 1930, daughter of the late Ralph and Lois (Hockett)Mittank. She graduated from Fairmount High School in 1948 and married Jack Fox on March 19, 1949, at the Fairmount Friends Church. Jack preceded her in death on January 3, 2013. Janet and Jack were owners of Fox TV and Appliance for 30 years. Janet loved spending the winters in Largo, Florida, and playing cards. Janet is survived by her son, Dr. Mark (Patty) Fox, PuntaGorda, FL; sister, Ruth Lewis, Anderson; grandchildren, Erin (Dustin) Barnett, Abigail Fox, Rebecca Fox, KaylaMitchener, and EricMitchener; and great-grandchildren,Myranda,Zoey, Carter, Davis, and Aubrey Along with her parents and husband, Janet was also preceded in death by her daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and MikeMitchener; sister Doris Watts; and brother, ClydeMittank. Arrangements are being handled by the Fairmount Chapel ofArmes-HuntFuneral Home and Cremation Services, 415 S. Main Street, Fairmount, Indiana. A graveside service will be held at Park Cemetery in Fairmounton Tuesday, April 16, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Brock Meyer officiating.
